Day 1: Sanibel Spahhh
Luxuriate at the four-diamond Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa overlooking mangrove islets and Sanibel, Captiva and Pine islands. View dolphins frolicking from your private terrace, lounge by the pool, then investigate your options.
Hit the links at an area course (our guys chose the Dunes on Sanibel). Spa lovers will find it hard to choose just one from the zen-inspired selection at the resort’s 40,000-sq.-ft. spa. The quiet room is particularly relaxing. Soak up the "mysterious" ambiance (and don’t miss the superior grouper sandwich) at Doc Ford's on Sanibel Island. The restaurant/rum bar is named for the sleuth in Randy Wayne White's mystery novels, the latest of which is Dark Light.
Day 2: Bonita Spa & Golf
Bonita means “pretty" in Spanish. You’ll understand why with a trip to Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Bonita Springs. The Stillwater Spa, a luxurious full-service treatment center, is sure to leave one gorgeous on the surface, while the adjoining Raptor Bay Golf Club will beautify any golfer’s soul.
